The Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeship's government is headed from the province's voivode (governor) who's appointed because of the Polish Prime Minister. The voivode is then assisted in executing his obligations by the voivodeship's marshal, that's the appointed speaker with the voivodeship's govt which is elected via the sejmik (provincial assembly)
